Cambodia exported 596,000 tonnes of milled rice to 69 destinations in the first 9 months of 2025. Key markets for what is considered the best rice in the world include EU, China, ASEAN, Middle East and Africa. Other key export crops include paddy, cassava, cashew nuts and bananas.
Rubber
An agriculture based commodity earned over USD549 million in the first 9 months of 2025. Opportunities exist in direct investing in rubber plantations and processing. There are over 425,000 hectares of rubber trees under planation in Cambodia demonstrating Cambodia's ability to establish large areas of land for agriculture.
Tourism
Cambodia is expected to receive over 7 million international tourists in 2025. With projected international tourist spending of over $5.1 billion, tourism plays an essential role for the health of the Cambodian economy. efforts to diversify tourism products and offerings have succeeded in the dispersal of spending throughout the country where traditionally, arrivals had focused on Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.
